About Claudia I. Ramos-Otero, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Education
Claudia earned her master’s degree from The University of Texas Pan American and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked as a primary care provider in private practice for 18 years. Claudia has served as a mentor and preceptor for several nurse practitioner programs including University of Texas, Baylor, Frontier University and Walden University. She served as the coordinator for medical response teams and served on medical mission’s trips to Mexico early in her career.
Claudia’s nursing background is in the Labor & Delivery unit of Rio Grande Regional Hospital in Edinburg, Texas where she developed a passion for women’s health and cemented her personalized approach.
In her years of practice, Claudia has always established a great rapport with her patients and is looking forward to continuing to build strong patient-provider relationships as part of Kirby Oaks Medical Group.
